Andy Okrah is a versatile affable personality with many professional cups. He is a Certified Human Resource (HR) Practitioner with over 20-years’ experience, a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Human Resource Management (CIHRM), Ghana and an astute Leadership Trainer. Andy is an Executive Coach, Conference and Motivational Speaker, Youth Development Advocate, a Mentor and Social Entrepreneur. 

Andy was a former Director HR of the Forestry Commission, former Vice President, National Governing Council of CIHRM, former Board Chairman of the Student Loans Trust Fund (SLTF), Ghana, former Governing Council Member of Ghana Employers Association, former Member, Board of Trustee of Head of State Award Scheme, Duke of Edinburgh International Awards and former Deputy Minister of State of the Republic of Ghana.

He is currently Director of the Forestry Commission Training Centre (FCTC), a member of the Membership & Fellowship Committee of the CIHRM, the Founder and President of Young Professionals and Youth Coalition (YPYC) Foundation, a youth empowerment-oriented NGO, which focuses on youth leadership empowerment, entrepreneurship and career development. Andy is the Convener of a National conference, TRANSFORM SUMMIT i.e. Young Professionals Transformational Leadership Conference and Africa Role Model Awards.

Andy holds Doctor of Theology Degree from the North Carolina College of Theology, USA, MBA from the University of Leicester, United Kingdom with specialization in Human Resource Management (HRM) and Bachelor of Science degree in Natural Resources Management from Kwame Nkrumah University Science and Technology (KNUST) during which he served as President of the Students Representative Council (SRC). Andy Okrah was the initiator of the novel KNUST SRC Hostel and SRC Development Fund i.e. students owned SRC Hostel project initiatives.  He is a Trustee of the KNUST-SRC Development Fund.
